This project was part of the regeneration of Regents Canal in London.
Groundwork Camden and Islington required a railing to address a number of problems with the current railings - these were mainly safety and litter problems, but also extended to the unattractive appearance of the area.
Our solution was to provide a railing with taller panels that angled away from the canal, making them harder to climb and prevented litter being thrown over. Our trademark wave pattern was adapted to flow in a softer and less defined wave because of the length of the railings. We installed over 400 metres of railings 2 metres high.
This project successfully developed and enhanced the environment's visual appeal.
