Stoke Quay

Cam was pleased to be involved in supplying street furniture for the initial stages of the multimillion pound Ipswich Dock regeneration. This project is still ongoing. As a normal procedure we like to look back in on our projects many years later and we were impressed to find that, after ten years, the seating was still in excellent condition. No chipping or corrosion could be found; this is illustrated in the pictures of completion and now. Cam's products really do prove their quality again and again.

Sir Alf Ramsey Railings

Claydon Architectural Metalwork Ltd was commissioned to design and manufacture fencing to enhance the statue of 'Sir Alf Ramsey' in 1999. We incorporated Ipswich Town Football Club's initials directly behind the statue and polyester powder coated it in the club's colours.

The first of these pictures was taken on completion in 2000 and the other two were taken in September 2009. As you can see, these railings have had no maintenance and still look 'as new,' which proves the overall quality of Claydon Architectural products. Cam's fencing is designed and manufactured to be a permanent fixture.

Barley Sheaf Sculpture

Cam was contacted by a landscape designer 'Vanessa Parker' to help develop her design for a sculpture. Cam worked closely with Vanessa advising the best solution for manufacturing.

The completion photos were taken in 1999, and the others were taken in September 2009. Cam is proud to have worked on a project that has a focal point, on the local quayside. In the time this sculpture has been standing, ten harvests have now passed and we are expecting it to be there for many more, untouched by corrosion and weathering.

Landseer Road, Ipswich

Cam was contacted by 'Ipswich Borough Council' when they noticed that this particular run of fencing was being vandalized and replaced on a regular basis. They decided to invest in something more substantial. Cam used one of their 'barleycrush' designs for two reasons; it was aesthetically pleasing, and featured excellent longevity and vandal resistance.

The photos show a before picture of the location, followed by two completion photo's in 2000 and once again two pictures from September 2009. This railing has had no maintenance and is still 'as new' with no chips or rust spots to be seen.
