Britannia School, Ipswich.
Client: Ipswich Borough Council.
Object: Installation of new railings to frontage of school, to reduce unauthorised access and make entrance ways more visible and to help define new areas of soft and hard landscaping.
Solution: Railings designed with a decorative crush to the tops of the panels, to give a really strong line along the panels. Feature panels designed to mimic “apex” of the Victorian school buildings, this feature was also used in 2 pedestrian safety panels, which were placed near the end of the pathways to stop the children running onto the road.
